We are honored to announce that THE CO-OP WARS has been selected for the 2021 Duluth Superior Film Festival! THE CO-OP WARS will be part of the festival’s Cinema Re-Formed slate of films with a focus on social, economic, and racial justice. The screening is at 11:00 AM on Aug. 21 and tickets are available now.
We are excited to be part of another home-state festival, especially because the Duluth-Superior area has such an incredible cooperative history. In fact, this very blog features a post about a fascinating precursor to the Co-op Wars that happened in the thriving Finnish-American co-op movement in the area back in 1930. We look forward to hearing what our Northland friends think of the film!
