WARNER

Deacon Warner (Director) has produced over twenty short documentaries including the award winning 56 and Peaceful Warriors: on the road with Vets for Peace. His most recent film, Bee-Sharp Honeybee, premiered at the 2018 Minneapolis St Paul International Film Festival and played at numerous other festivals internationally.  He has been the Youth Program Director at FilmNorth since 2008 and produces films for non-profits and artists.

ERIK
ESSE

Erik Esse (Producer) has worked in film and television marketing and distribution at IFP MN (now FilmNorth) and the Independent Television Service (ITVS). His work in the food and co-op movements includes serving as director of the Local Fair Trade Network, as a staff member of Central Co-op in Seattle and North Country Co-op in Minneapolis and as organizer of the US Conference of Workplace Democracies, the Midwest Worker Cooperative Conference and the Farmworker Conference for Fair Trade.

PETER
COYOTE

Peter Coyote (Narrator) is an accomplished actor who has appeared in more than 130 films, including E.T.: The Extraterrestrial, Erin Brockovich and, most recently, The Comey Rule as Robert Mueller. He is also an Emmy-award winning narrator of documentaries, including eight by the legendary Ken Burns, including The Vietnam War (2017) and Country Music (2019). He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Narrator in 2015 for his work on Burns’ The Roosevelts: An Intimate History.

HILARY
JOHNSON

Hilary G. Johnson (Associate Producer) is currently a worker-owner at Equal Exchange and has worked for Seward Co-op in Minneapolis and Whole Foods Co-op in Duluth. She has previously been a board member of the Domestic Fair Trade Association and the Local Fair Trade Network.
